Full time Nanny | 40 hours a week | Hilversum area
For a warm and active family in the Hilversum area, we are looking for an experienced, energetic and committed Nanny for four days a week. A lovely long term position for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, brings structure and truly wants to become part of a family.
The family has three children: a boy of 7, a girl of 6 and a baby girl born in the summer of 2026. The two eldest children spend slightly less than half their time with the family and the rest of the time with their mother. Your primary focus is the baby, but you also play an important role in the daily guidance and upbringing of the two eldest children.
About the children
The 7 year old boy is sweet and sensitive and feels comfortable with structure and clarity. He is good at playing independently, likes being at home and also enjoys heading out together and doing activities. He also loves playing football. His 6 year old sister is energetic, cheerful and positive. She is good at entertaining herself, but also loves being active and takes swimming lessons, among other things.
The youngest is still a baby. That is why the parents are looking for someone with extensive experience with babies, who is familiar with daily baby care and can handle it independently and confidently.
Your role
You work four days a week, approximately 40 hours. Your tasks include:
- full care of the baby
- guiding sleep, feeding and daily routines
- picking up and looking after the eldest children
- doing fun and active activities
- organising play dates for the eldest children
- accompanying the children to sports and swimming lessons
- providing structure, calm and clear boundaries
- encouraging independence and responsibility
- doing the grocery shopping
- cooking for the family
- taking care of the laundry
- tidying up here and there and keeping the household neat.
There is a cleaner for the heavier cleaning.
Upbringing
The parents find it important that, despite the comfortable environment they are growing up in, the children learn to be independent, responsible and respectful. Honesty, good manners, eating together at the table and learning to tidy up are all part of this.
As a Nanny, you are given real room to help raise the children. You are warm and involved, but can also set clear boundaries and act consistently. The parents are looking for an equal partnership.
Who are we looking for?
You are:
- energetic, active and hands on
- warm, sociable and reliable
- proactive and independent
- structured and responsible
- experienced with babies
- someone who enjoys doing activities with children
- enthusiastic about preparing tasty and healthy meals
- a Dutch speaker
- in possession of a driving licence
- comfortable riding a cargo bike.

- An indicative salary between €3.500 and €4.500 gross based on 40 hours
- Support from The Family Assistant (before, during and after your placement)
The family has a dog and a few rabbits. There is a dog walker, but it would be nice if you enjoy occasionally taking the dog out.
