Vacancy: Nanny | Bilthoven (31,5 hours)
Are you a loving and professional Nanny who radiates calm, offers structure, has an eye for the development of young children and enjoys feeling part of a warm and welcoming family?
For a cosy and harmonious family in Bilthoven, we are looking for a committed Nanny for 31,5 hours a week, spread over Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In this family, everything revolves around attention, togetherness and a pleasant atmosphere. They love doing fun activities together, regularly head out on the (cargo) bike and enjoy welcoming family and friends. Hospitality, respect and caring for one another form the basis of their daily life.
From 1 November 2026 there is room for a new Nanny who would like to commit to the family for the long term.
About the family
You will join a loving family with three young children: a boy of 6 and two girls aged 4 and 2. The eldest two now attend primary school and are curious, sociable and love playing together. The youngest is at home and is an energetic, cheerful girl who loves to move, dance and enthusiastically joins in with everything.
The children are growing up with clear norms and values. The parents find politeness, self confidence, cooperation and consideration for others important. They therefore explicitly see their Nanny as a partner in raising the children and are looking for someone who naturally shares this vision.
Your role
As a Nanny, you are the one who brings calm, structure and warmth to the day. You create a safe environment in which the children can develop to the full, and you guide them with love, patience and attention.
During the day you focus mainly on the youngest daughter. When the eldest children come home from school, you make sure they have a relaxed afternoon with room for play, creativity and shared activities.
You actively think along about the children's development, encourage their independence and naturally bring structure to the day. You also consider it a matter of course to tidy up together with the children and keep the house neat and presentable throughout the day.
You enjoy being active with the children and heading out. A visit to the playground, the petting farm or a trip to Utrecht is just as much part of it as playing or doing crafts together at home. Because the children are still young, this is an active and physical role. You feel comfortable with this and enjoy guiding the children with enthusiasm.
Your tasks
- The daily care and guidance of the three children.
- Providing calm, structure and a loving environment.
- Undertaking activities focused on development, such as crafts, reading, playing outside and heading out.
- Taking the children to school and picking them up.
- Organising play dates and other activities.
- Organising and accompanying sports lessons and other after school activities.
- Preparing healthy meals.
- Eating together with the children.
- Light household tasks directly related to the children, such as doing a load of laundry or tidying away toys.
- Keeping the house well kept and presentable throughout the day.
Who are you?
You are a warm personality who offers calm, stability and structure. You sense well what children need, know how to use your energy appropriately and guide them with love, patience and clarity. From a natural sense of involvement, you build a safe environment in which the children feel seen and encouraged.
You also recognise yourself in the following:
- You have experience with young children or a proven feel for upbringing and development.
- A qualification in childcare or education is a welcome bonus, but not a requirement.
- You are loving, caring and consistent.
- You are active, enterprising and enjoy heading out with children.
- You feel comfortable in an active and physical role.
- You are creative and enjoy doing activities with children.
- You like structure and a tidy environment.
- You are a strong communicator and discuss matters openly and honestly.
- You speak fluent Dutch.
- You are comfortable handling a cargo bike.
What does the family offer?
- A position for 31,5 hours a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 08.00 to 18.30).
- Start date: 1 November 2026.
- A long term relationship with a warm and stable family.
- A salary between € 3.500 and € 4.500 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on experience and background.
- Coaching and support from TFA.
